Outside looking in
« on: January 01, 2016, 03:37:40 »
Taken at Christmas 2014 at the busy corner of Queen and Bay streets here in Toronto.
I noticed a homeless person lying on the sidewalk in front of a coffee shop, while inside two people sat in warm comfort enjoying hot drinks, and was struck by the polar opposites of their lives, and got this shot.
motorized Nikon F2AS
Tokina ATX 80~200 2.8 AIS manual focus
Fuji 100 ISO colour slide
2.8 @ 1/60th

I shoot with film. That's film. F...i...l...m. You remember film. It was in all the papers.

It's always sad to see the homeless.
You captured a great contrast and the sad story (at least for me) of the wealthy not taking care of the poor.
