Expired Kodak Disc Winterscape

This is from my first batch of Kodak Disc film I shot and had developed at Dwayne’s Photo. This is from a scan of the negative. The film expired 24 years ago in February, 1991. The original color negatives had a pink cast to them due to the age. I took this photo with a Kodak Tele Disc camera. The Tele Disc was made from 1985 until 1990 and had a list price of $58.

That image faithfully reproduced the 'winter' landscape we experienced up to this very morning: grey, wet, and bleak. Fortunately it snowed hard this morning.

Otherwise it serves as a reminder that one should develop film without undue delay, if quality is to be retained. Whether the Kodak Disc camera could be assigned the label 'quality' is another theme for discussion of course.

We haven't had any snow yet. Not that I miss it.

I did develop immediately. I just waited 24 years to use the film! I still have a handful of disc film left. I recently did a pinup shoot with my disc camera and need to develop that yet.
