Hi, bogrod, I'm sorry I cannot recognize you immediately.  Is "bogrod" the same ID you used for FilmLives?  You may want to start a thread in "Introduce Yourself" section...

Hi Akira.  It's been so long since Film Lives that I don't remember which username I used.  I do know I was there when it was created and stayed all through it's brief life.

Never mind!  Let's enjoy our renewed relationship here!

David, I had a problem with another lens, the lesser 55-200 DX zoom. After loaning to son-in-law for a ski trip, it came back producing lousy images. It was cheap, so I just gave it to my local repair shop, and ordered another one.

Tough to sell gear that's usable but defective unless you can repair it.
