[Portfolio] Flamenco dancer, street shots

C&C very welcome. I´m getting tired of my own work -again- It is not easy to find in interesting and fresh. Day with no new ideas. This are working so far with other dancers but I´m interested in your opinions, if any.

Paco, the reason for you placing the first image at first seem is self-explanetory to me.  The pose of the dancer, the framing, the flare...everything is in place.

The pose doesn't necessarily remind me of flamenco, though.  Is it a flamenco dance of a modern creative style?

I wonder who the model of the tatoo is?  Carmen Amaya?  Madame Butterfly?

Having said that, I kind of sense that you were not very inspired while shooting these images, compared to your more successfully strong images posted so far.  Hope you to improve the situation.

  The first image is the only one in BW, thats why I put it first. I have done some close to that one in the past... The rest is in chronological order.
  You are spot on with the pose. It is flamenco-ish with some modern flavor into it. Hopefully, it works with the retro street and the treatment of the image.
     The model tatoo is his own mother. She passed away some time ago. For me this is the most succesfull frame because you can recognise him through the tatoo, earing and beard.

Creativity comes and goes for me as well, or call it motivation , sometimes the gone period is pretty long

Golunvolo, for me the first image also stands out the most.
if you dont mind, I added some contrast - as for me I liked it - this doesnt mean YOU have to like it -
we all have our own opinions and this is just another one.
If you dont like it that I uploaded it - it can be deleted

Elsa: Your opinion means a lot and the fact that you took the time to download the image, play with it and upload it again to show your point. Thanks a lot. In this particular case, I will stick by the first version. It will be used in his website or as publicity for workshops and so on...best to see his face if only a little. Your version, I like.

I also like #1 best of the whole bunch.

Minor nitpick, his right arm is kinda melted into the poles on the street side. Perhaps a next time, try to choose slighter lower viewpoint, or have his arms slightly higher up to allow for some separation. Did i say this is a minor one

HCS: Thanks. I did tried some different levels and poses to avoid-exploit the background. I don´t have them with me right now but will post an option in a couple of days..
