Your colorful but contrasty approach was off-putting at first.  I like that the color reproduction is reminiscent of the way Kodachrome 25 looked, except your style here is more contrasty...if that is possible... than the K25.  It may turn out to be a useful style.  I find myself wanting to see more in the shadows. Also, when the shadow areas become so large, their shape becomes an element of composition...or distraction.  Show more when you have more.
