To be absolutely certain, you shot it twice?

My moon images are not as spectacular as other images posted here, but I am trying :)
That's absolutely beautiful, Jakov!

Moisture laden atmosphere, coupled with city haze - a challenge for full moon shots.
Mike, that's an inspiring image.

It came out of the camera as one image, hence I am not sure whether multiple exposure counts :D

It is officially tomorrow but as unfortunately it will probably be cloudy then I took one today as well.

Mike, that's an inspiring image.

Thank you Anirban. The forecast for Tokyo tonight is cloudy and rainy - that might have been the only chance to look at the "super" moon.

We have a lot of hills, so even the super moon gets a bit small by the time it comes up to view.  And we have a lot of trees.  So maybe a somewhat different look.

You used the haze to full extent! Very nice!

Thanks Eric. Just as well I took the shot yesterday - no moon at all tonight!

We are keeping our fingers crossed here for the weather conditions to cooperate, I have been scouting for locations the last couple of days to try and anticipate a good location to shoot,,,

We are lagging so much in the time zone here in Alaska that the supermoon already rise on Nov. 13.
It was a bit on the dark side at moon rise; here is a first attempt, showing green moon flash and far away trees that became almost too small and some houses up on that hill.

Fantastic capture, Øivind!  Surely it is a great idea to shoot right after the moonrise when the moon looks the largest!
