Thank you  for the link, I thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween Massacre :)

You are welcome  ;)

Nice extreme closeups MFloyd and Børge and Tejpor, well done getting the foreground working. The supermoon behind Atlas has a very nice atmosphere, I like how only part of the moon is showing.
...

With pleasure. Quite new for me (moon & milky way shots) and still a lot (if not all) to learn. Waiting for the 500mm PF, and a decent tripod.  :D

...
(These are not B&W or sepia toned, just how the colors came out):
...

I had a good experience by setting colour temperature at 5'500K, and, by miracle, colours came back.. :o

Thanks for commenting. A little color comes back, but it is not the cold tones often present with moonlight but dampened orange from light pollution. I think the original WB caused the cold light originating from moon and the sky to mostly cancel out the orange of the light pollution.

 喜多郎: Full Moon Story

Very dark winter night, full moon shining through a frosty mist.

Rodenstock 100mm f/1.6 XR-Heligon on the Z6, 32000 ISO, 1/250 sec.

Timber is Scots Pine, by the way. Freshly cut the logs smell divinely.

Fabulous image.  Still quite cold out there?

Quite cold during nights, last days have seen + degrees for a change. We have had two major snow falls the last week, though. So spring isn't here yet.
