Lovely, Bjørn!

Lasts for about 30 minutes (max.) after the sun has set. After this stage, the blue and indigo hues prevail.

On an inland lake in a forest region, the water can become mirror-like calm just after the sun has gone under the horizon. When the wind picks up again, the mosquitoes and gnats attack in full force. So about time to pick up your stuff and flee.

Back on track, one of my earlier attempts at nature photography. Pictures from this series won me several prizes back in the ancient history of film. I must have been younger then

Wow ! 8) So delicate with pastel colors. No wonder this one was prized...

I spent a shooting day literally tethered to a point in my front yard. All was shot within a circle of < 2 m diameter. An interesting exercise.

Of course it hurts

As might be surmised, the event used exotic lens(es) to their best advantage.

Jacov, the Prime Minister of New Zealand (John Key) may well be VERY interested in this image as a new flag, as the New Zealanders struggle with the new flag political diversion that he has created over there.   ;D  ;D  ;D

Bjørn, not if but when I become president of a country, may I use that photo as a flag :)
