Winter scenes allows for an unlimited supply of "minimalistic" pictures. Here water forced through cracks in the thick ice of an alpine lake showing its remarkable blue colour. All perception of scale is lost by such scenes (in fact, the crack is more than 200 m in length. I'm shooting this motif from distance over 1 km away).
