Enjoying a snack. Taken with the Df and a Zeiss 135/2.0 - a bit of a challenge with this fast moving little fellow.....

Nice one.

We have these in Tilburg, Netherlands. They escaped in 'Oude Warande' at the time (1950's) when a Zoo was there. It's a healthy population regularly visiting the surrounding suburbs http://tilburgers.nl/siberische-grondeekhoorn-tamias-sibiricus/

Thanks, Elsa. It seemed that way to me - it did cute extremely well. I was fascinated by it - they don't exist in Oz.

Ahh. That explains why he/she was momentarily distracted. Not good for its health and wellbeing, I imagine.

spot on focussing. With the slow 2.0/135 this is a lot of good luck involved. Looks like a wide ope shot.

Pretty close, Frank. f4@1/320sec. There is a lot of luck involved - the movements were so quick and unpredictable. I just preset the focus and moved the camera in/out. Plenty of OOF shots for use elsewhere on the forum!
