Ok, did not see a forum for site issue discussion so I try here ;-)

When using preview, the attachments are not shown.

When having posted, I am not returned to the thread but the containing forum.

There also does not seem to be a way to set a "notify me on replies" option by default.

Am I missing a config option?

thx

Notification options are under "Profile" --> "Account Settings" --> "Modify Profile" --> "Notifications" --> "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic"

Works for me ...

I knew it was a PIFOK ;-)

Found the return to topic option as well, now I only miss the uploaded images in previews.

thx

We're trying to fix how the images look but haven't out how to do it yet, most of us are pretty new at this :)

Two known issues:
- Hyperlinks aren't resized to fit the screen (you need to scroll now)
- Attached images show as small previews instead of a full res image
Cheers,

Need a hand?
Not that I am a web guy ;-)

Me thinks that would require quite a bit of processing on the server side.

And they can not be placed inline...

Does the option "Resize images when showing under post" not work?

I also found this:

We tried some of fthe mods on a test forum and had severe trouble with them. Later found a css-based fix that apparently works. You do need to link to the image using BBC-tag 'img' (image button). Flickr hosting works great and so might other sites do, but not tested in detail yet.

A crude and cumbersome method, not really a fix, is adding the image as an attachment, get the local URL from that, then enclose this URL in the img tags.

Thanks Bear, I was wondering about the Posting Guidelines.  I do not post images often and try to keep them to under 500KB.   Very happy to have the new site up and running.  If, and when, I get an image worth posting I'm sure I will learn how  :) .

I appreciate the combined efforts of all to launch and massage the Beta.
Cheers,
Tom
