Local paper photographer in action, I cannot help but feel my viewpoint yielded a more interesting image  8)

Peter I prefer the 2nd one :)
(I would open the aperture even more and ease up on the details in photo ninja)

Thanks. I have to agree. I should have opened it more. It was set to f4.5. stupid me. Next chance in Utrecht. ;-)

So you carry the new D4, 600 f4 Gitzo from the UK, carry it 300 meters into the Paddy Fields and no birds show up  :( .  I would not be too happy either, but I was shooting near my jeep with many Kingfishers fishing close enough for the 70-200vr   ;D .
