Those were the golden days of film. Digital was a pipe dream yet to come (although rumours had commenced), cameras were real cameras not computers, and men were men. Heck, even I was a man back then

For the record, my old personality here uses an Arca-Swiss F-Line camera with 120 roll film holder, long bellows, and the excellent Nikkor-T ED 270mm f/6.3. A speed monster in its time. I still have the camera gear, but it hasn't been used for decades.

The Lofoten Archipelago has many sights to offer, and one of the most famous is the shortest location name imaginable. No wonders visiting photographers swarm around the road sign

(the name 'Å' literally means 'River' with the added implication the river is small, winding and slow-running)

Thank you John, I'm very fond of this image and I was very impressed by the fast and total acceptance of the holding technique. Even the body position looks amazing. A true petite photographe

Using a Fisheye as the preferred lens for street photography requires the photographer -literally- to immerse himself in the action

PS: I know Paco just recently got the fabulous 16/3.5 Nikkor, so let the photo be a pointer as to its 'correct' usage

An anonymous nature photographer of the female kind is documenting the (to Norwegians, a trite and hackneyed cliché)  waterfalls of Låtefossen. She likely would be a foreigner.

 Beautiful white hair, foreigner....maybe she is also attracted to the non-visible spectrum of photography?
