I'm interested in this lens. What's your opinion so far  - meeting expectations?

I'm not a trained reviewer, so do not expect more than my simple comments. However, so far I am satisfied. The f=4,5 shot seem to be soft at edge right and left. At f=8 I feel that I is sharp across. Even at f=16. The softness at edge may be due to the loger distance than to the center. All handheld, imported to Lightroom 5.7, no sharping, resized to 2048px long side @ 80%. (Motiv; University building at Campus Ås Norway under renovation).

There seems to be very little geometrical distortion. Impressive. How much did you pay for it?
