Lunch with the family...

First time I saw a spider having lunch with all of her children !... :-)

Nice idea. Are you sure they do not feast on each others ... just like family?

Nope... Even the "teen" not the upper right was joining in a spot where those spiders usually fight (and eat) each others ! :-)

nearly half a day, on a spot I visited daily...!

Cool pic. My first thoughts would have been to photograph it - then squash it. But I wouldnt have - since I know how important spiders really are. I have some living in my house (big rain spiders) The ig ones I can handle - its the small ones that worry me!

I'm quite fond of those little critters, but don't know how I would react with some of those beast found in other countries... :-)

In summer, I go for holidays on a small french island, Porquerolles, I have a special cactus full of those critters... :-)
