John, I agree about the tree.  That is the thing about shooting from a vehicle when the driver just wants to get from A to B and is not interested in things he sees every day  ;) .  This is pretty much a frame filler.  Any ideas for a crop?


Yet another B&W conversion  ;) .  The organizers asked for some more images from Bike Week and I came across this one that I had not paid much attention to...

This morning at the River
Sony a7II, Summarit M 75mm f2.5 with TechArt AF adapter at f5.6.  I bought the lens as a walkabout for my style of shooting, not photography  :) .  No sharpening but used Clarity... still working that out.

Fons, fun image.  I try not to get too close to the Water Buffs.  They look docile but you just never know what they might do  ;)

John, I much prefer this treatment.  I like the tighter crop and the way you've lifted the darks (particularly the long coat) . An interesting pair.

Thanks Fons, BEZ and Tom.

As the photo referred to the re-installation of a road, being closed since 1863 due to railroad factories, I wanted to have a bit of the same look. The Velocipede bicycle was introduced and mass produced around the same time.  I personally both know the two gentlemen. To the left is  the chairman of an Old Bicycle foundation,  he is focussed to the new passage and the possibility not to bump his head in the new tunnel.  ;)

The one to right is a 'notorious' tramp, who looked here remarkably fresh.
