I clicked on what I thought to be an old link and much to my surprise was teleported back several years to a small friendly forum. Nice to see so many familiar faces, I'm happy to have stumbled upon the revival!

Yes thank you for the correction, familiar
names
.
Only some of the faces are familiar.
Mine maybe not, but perhaps my name?

Yes, definitely a familiar name, and one that I have great pleasure to read again.
I still remember your portraits of "sophisticated" or "original" friends, pardon me if it didn't go through as intended, it was definitely meant in a positive way!

Hi Olivier, thank you for the kind words. It is good to see you here as well.
Yes, I seem to recall what you are referring too. If we are speaking of the same thing, I did my best to remove all traces of that from the internet!

A bold and I dare say unusual interpretation of the harsh landscape of Death Valley. It has a lot going for it.
Hope to see many more future contributions !!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes and kind words. Death Valley is a bold and unusual landscape in itself. An inspiring place.

Hi Charlie, good to have you here.
The title of your message is great. Reminded me of a scene from Independence Day
