Genève by night

1 - Jean-Jacques  Rousseau's birthplace (but I can't stand this philosopher)
2 - Antique shopi

All Df + 40/2, stopped down to f/5.6 and wide open, respectively. It was not even necessary in the second case, ISO 125, but I wanted it "soft".

Wonderfully subtle structures and mood.

Yes, the shopkeepers did a good job : no apparent tags or labels, no mess, just great-grandma's interior reloaded, so to say.

Heavy PP on the second to reveal the lamp shade structures and other details. The shot was heavily "underexposed", on purpose.

Thanks both. Great wines too, from Valais-specific grapes (petite arvine, cornalin). I was under influence.

I love both. They tell the story very well.
