Fortaleza de Sagres, Algarve
« on: September 12, 2015, 12:37:35 »
I recently went on a short trip to Portugal. Here are some pictures I've taken at a fortress that I'd like to share with you.
All comments are welcome. :)

Portugal, wow.

The first one is the most mysterious, with the person just showing. A little less sky would be better IMO.

I really like the second one, but somehow the exposure throws me off a bit. It seems that it is really sunny, but still the white of the building (barn?) is not really white, or at least it appears so.

The 3rd one doesn't really do it for me.

I have a feeling all three are underexposed.
Maybe it's just my screen.  :)

Thank you, Hans and Jakov, for the feedback!

Actually, it was not sunny at all, it was completely overcast. It was a strange atmosphere and light that day but I really liked the contrast of the darkish sky and the light colour of the buildings. I guess I messed up the post processing if the pictures look like underexposed captures of a sunny day...

Sagres, where everything started 5 centuries ago...

Nice photos for a hard to take fortress.
