Great pictures ! Are those before or after the earthquake ?

Shop keeping is a very common occupation in your pictures.
A work that demands a lot of patience and reveals the character of the person in charge to every visitor.
You managed to capture and frame this character in a unique and lovely way making us travel with you in time and space.
Thank you.

You have capture a flavor of the East, exotic to us westerners. I've always wondered if a western city is as interesting and exotic to an Easterner as an Asian city is to a westerner?

Thanks guys!

Gary, for the Easteners it can be like for the Polish people going to the west in the 80's or beggining of the 90's. I remember my first trip to the West: Berlin! amazing city. Full of colors, people wearing very vivid clothes, having such "style". Everything seems to be effortles. Shops were like from sci-fi movie. Full of electronics.

I think that for some of Easteners that can be similar. Except for those living in Shanghai ;-)
