From an outing to the Islington Canal Festival, my excuse is this was a brand new Lumix G9 and I was unused to a new autofocus system!
Lumix G9 + PLeica 12-60mm @ 1/1000 f4 ISO200.
Nikon Z7, 24-70mm f4, 14-30, 35, 50,  85.

Almost looks intentional :)
It’s actually exactly the reverse of what I was trying to achieve! But it turned out not to be a disaster!

Catch your Dreams while you can

Nikon Z50, Ultra-Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/2 on short extension (the UMN lens is razor sharp per se, doesn't imply the ensuing image has to be likewise)

My Flowing Kestrel

I took some pretty unsharp shots today (also "decapitated" a few birds because of my poor reaction times :( )
But when I looked back at this, it seemed to capture the grace of these birds as they take off - effotlessly flowing from a static position into a dynamic maelstrom of movement

Not really unsharp. Of course the camera wanted to create it's own creation. It managed it very well. d850 & pc19 used.  byebye, richard

After all this time cut of from normalcy, with a surfeit of opportunities to think, the first impression of our common enemy has crystallised itself into a visual form. Like having at last an electron microscope with sufficient resolving power?

Such a pity it is this dangerous. I rather like its appearance if not its ramifications.

What this *really* is? I leave that to the reader or just let your imagination flow.

Birna, I'm not sure what this really is but your images help loosen the imagination, something I sometimes lack. It's easy to appreciate the imagination reflected in your images.

Dreamy. Inspiring. Strong and symbolic. You did it yet again.
