Sky Colors
« on: August 27, 2015, 09:12:22 »
Yesterday evening we had a lot of rain and thunderstorms. Although it was still raining, the sky started to clear at the right time. So I went outside (yes, camera and me were soaked) and made a few shots in the park that is close to my house.  All shot with D750 and 20mm. 2 stops under-exposure. Postprocessing: camera vivid, S-shaped tone curve, light noise reduction.

UPDATE 5/4/2016: There is only one image left because I deleted others when cleaning up my photo library. Apologies
Peter

Lovely colors Peter.
I heard about it from many folks but didn't see anything myself, because I was ripping up the bowling lanes like a real dude.

Amazing late evening colours. Quite eerie, though - as if some cataclysmic event has just taken place!

Thank you. I am sorry you missed it but I am sure you had fun with bowling! You will have a lot of opportunities in September, which bring us - in the Netherlands at least - the best skies!

Yeah, it felt like that.  :D

Very special colors, Peter.

They were indeed.

Thank you. Right now I am playing with photos of butterflies. ;-)
