At last, a restroom that is spacious enough for everyone, with easy access, and combine tasteful decoration and perfect ventilation to boot. Enjoy your stay.

Also an example that images can originate by spontaneous self-creation.

Ventilation is very important. #1 great example.
Shitting one's pants on the loo seems like a streched concept.
The outdoor facilities in #3 do seem univiting to me.

What I really cant imagine - is sitting on a pot wondering ALL the time who is looking at you - even with no one around - I think its built into our brains that you need a CLOSED door !

I can appreciate all the positive point of outdoor amenities, (as spelled out in this thread). But why are the amenities represented, all in climes which would minimize the usage of said amenities?

Outdoors is fine if you're dressed appropriately... while I am not a Norwegian,  but in this neck of the woods and in particular using the amenities of this thread, requires a certain amount of disrobing. Again, while I am not against diserobing (by some), I feel that a 365 day a year activity require a 365 day a year amenity. Norway, in my little cream cheese brain, the great outdorrs in Norway does not meet my climate bar for a 365 day a year outdoor amenity.

Thinking of Norway , during certain times the water will not flow, other times it will be hard to find the whole installation ,  also if you find it, disrobing takes some time, or so it was my experience when I spent time outdoors during winters in Minnesota

Probably my second biggest issue would be the fact that that seat is not warmed up - so you risk getting stuck to that pot - where you might find yourself for the next 6 months

I will never forget the sight of a young boy putting his tongue against a cold metal sign post in freezing winter over here many years ago. He got stuck, nearly fainted and despite the help of warm water still got injured. Ough. I am sure he remembers it too.  :P
