Street Shot in Nimbin NSW
« on: August 24, 2015, 03:47:41 »
I like to do street/ environmental portraits, although I don't do a lot of photography these days.

This is my latest one, of a musician sitting having a coffee on the street in Nimbin NSW.  He looks like a real character and I am pleased with the result.

Andy, a very interesting man/image.  I really like the light, composition and tones.  One that I would like to see larger  :)

Thanks for your comment , Tom.

I was fortunate that the ambient lighting was not antagonistic to my requirements. (no flash)

I will try to post in a larger format in future but I find the size I used easy for i-net use.

Gary, elsa and John, thank you for your comments.

I shot the photo with my D700 & 70 -200 VR. I was fortunate that the natural lighting was suitable for a portrait'

Very interesting portrait.

I like natural light. It really works here.

This is a great portrait, it looks a bit like a painting, which I like.
