Mr and Mrs Spotted Pardalote nest building
« on: August 21, 2015, 16:03:56 »
Pardalotes are native Australian birds, only 3" in length. They build their nests usually in the ground in burrows, but sometimes in the hollow of a tree like this couple are doing. One of my favourite birds due to their beautiful colouring, cuteness and usually inquisitive nature.

Mr Pardalote:

Compositionally #3 is a wonderful harmonious shot, technically they are all stunning, no wonder given that dream of a lens, in'it?

The lens is stupid good, makes getting photos like these easy, but I hate to admit it.  :)

When I see these cute and pretty creatures it is hard to think that their forefathers were the dinosaurs.
Thanks for sharing this couple with us Lance 😊

Rendition of the furry forerunners to man is stunningly detailed. I can even identify the fern they are sitting on (Pteridium aquilinum). So no doubt this lens is excellent. However, it still takes a good photographer to make pictures taken with it sing.
