From my greenhouse this morning.

Quite a heavy crop from the original.

I love the simplicity of the first one, the second one I am less fond of.
I wish I had a greenhouse. As we are still projecting our garden I might plan for a small greenhouse as well. Want to grow peppers, cumbers and tomah-toes.

The one deprived from distracting background is more my cup of tea. With the lines straightened it would even be more harmonious.

A Pelargonium that is for historical reasons still carrying Geranium as its vernacular name. Pretty confusing as the two genera were split apart as far back as in 1789 ....

The Pelargoniums are diversified into hundred or perhaps thousands of cultivars and hybrids. I believe this is a sample of a P. x hortorum, but hard to say as so little of the plant itself shows.

Whatever they are named these are lovely and colourful plants and the intensity of the petal colours really is a challenge even for the best DSLRs.

Bjorn, you are absolutely correct it is a pelargonium as you quite rightly say.

Also as you say it is a challenge to get the petal colour as one would want!

Nice pics and colors, Mike.

And what a coincidence, just this morning I tried the same, also a Pelargonium apparently  ;)
