the picture is good, shows a calm environement
the deers are standing in geometrical relation to the trees, in our deer park they are standing in cluster relation to the tourist giving them food
it is still different Japan and Germany  :)

Thank you, Thomas.  Actually, there were scarcely any tourists in this particular area, thus the elatively calm atmosphere.  And the placement of the deer inspired me to shoo the scene in a little bit of Bresson-esque style.  :)

so cute Chip - well captured!

Not cute at all! They steal oranges off my friend's trees and eat them leaving the hollowed out skin in the walk for people to slip on. Then they do the nefarious thing: steal pecans off the neighbor's tree and hide them here and there around my friend's garden. The worst is they jump on my very best friend's aviary and scare her. Sometimes she flies and crash lands as she has never been to flight school. I suspect they bite avocados that are months from being ready to pick and again they leave them on the walk. I have yet to see one with an avocado in its mouth but I have faced down one at half a meter with an orange in its mouth. They look cute at a glance, yes but deep down they are evil. They are lucky my mother raised me as a pacifist.

A nice curved transformation of the graphic elements by the 16mm lens.  And nicely framed and presented.
