nice paco style

strange geometry

Thank you Frank, a lot. The notion that anyone can find a "style" in what I do is both a big compliment and a completely alien idea.

Somebody lend my a dji mavic 3 cine version for me to play a couple of weeks. Here is the first attempt at taking a picture from 100 plus altitude. The view is magnficent but the quality of the camera not on par,

Mavic 3 cine, dng file, auto everything.

Same applies here as elsewhere in the world of photography: if it doesn't work -- get closer :)

The scenery looks familiar, though. I think we did a photo_op around that watch tower?

Slowly working my way through the remaining files from my last trip.... An example of what enjoyment the 9mm Laowa (on Zf) can bring with it-.

That is the tower where we took the photos a while ago?

I find the photo attractive; that delicate light is interesting and reminds me of the "sfumato" technique.

Pogi at TdR - Z5ii & Z 24-120mm

Today I went to the French part of Switzerland by train to photograph Tadej Pogacar at the Tour de Romandie. Glad it finally worked out despite some hurdles. In the morning I cycled from the Train Station to the Start place and was in midst the security motorbikes - tried a one handed video with my handy and fell over at a bump in the street. There's no better place to crash than a pro race. So off to the para medic to get the wounds sorted. Then I knocked at the Tudor Pro Racing team bus door and asked the mechanic if he would please repair my bike which he gladly did. Then off to the arrival location to get this picture. Luckily my two cameras in the backpack survived the crash :)
On the train home the shoulder and fingers got more and more sore so that I decided to visit the hospital for a check-up.
A luxated finger, another finger (camera release finger) with chipped bone and the shoulder needs further exams by MRI.
Hey but I got my photo ... and I should be back on the bike very soon.
