I did a quick comparison between Voigt 50 APO and the Z 50 f/1.8 S in the same setting.

The Voigtländer is sharper for night photography.

Frank you're right the Voigtländers are nice to work with.

Not to spoil the joy. Make sure your Voigtländers are properly centered stories going round of misalignment.

Take a photograph of a flat object like a wall, a building etc. with a central focuspoint at different apertures, check for inconsequential differences left or right, top or bottom.
