Yosemite and Beyond
« on: October 24, 2025, 17:28:01 »
I just returned home after three weeks in the Sierra and deserts of California and Nevada. We saw some cold nights and spectacular days in Yosemite, the Ansel Adams, Death Valley and elsewhere. These are with a D850 and a 28-105mm, 70-300mm or 20mm lens.

Lotsa Nikon gear.
Lotsa Minolta gear.

Gil, I like them all, and the last one gives me an impression of how much you've enjoyed the trip.

A few more from the trip:

Love the first and the last ones from the batch.  Nice abstraction.

I like the choices you made in all these images.  As an occasional shooter of sand dunes myself, the sand dunes images are particularly well done.

Beautiful! Incredible how the blues blend into the warm sand hues.
