Is the Rangfinder 85/3.5 optically the same as the 90/3.5?

I don't think so since they obviously are differently designed. They share the same nice rendition in terms of colours, but images by the rangefinder lens are a bit less contrasty. The filter thread is minute as well, if memory serves just 39mm.

This morning I saw a jumping spider hunting a lynx spider. Jumping spiders are tiny, but they have very curious big eyes.

Here I am taking the photo; the spider was on a pepinillo del diablo..
