Nice one reminding me of "The Great Masterbator" by Salvador Dalí.

Thanks Akira and Thomas, I took the photo yesterday, near a reservoir where some very elusive birds live.

D70 and AF NIKKOR 85mm 1:1.4 D, I have a problem with this lens, I can't use it in manual mode with any of my cameras, neither with the D750 nor with the D200 that I use for black and white.

My daughter decided that she wanted her ears pierced so that I can buy her jewellery.

Cucumbers or zucchini, I think. Sometimes, when the final product doesn't reach a minimum price that covers production costs, farmers here prefer to throw away the vegetables or fruits or sell them as livestock feed.

You have set the lens to M? The A/M ring is prone to breaking, by the way. Either use it set to AF or M mode permanently. I taped down the A/M ring to avoid it breaking. Other Nikkors of this vintage known to behave similarly are Zoom-Micro 70-180/4.5-5.6, AF Micro 200/4, and AF 105/2 DC. Probably the AF 135/2 DC as well.

Hi Birna. I haven't set the lens to M mode, I'll have to see how to do it. The A/M ring doesn't seem to be broken.

Press the small button on the A/M ring and rotate the collar to the new position.

I already have it in M, and it works fine. I'm missing the diaphragm aperture ring; it's stuck and won't rotate whether I'm in the red zone or the other position. It won't move manually. In the non-red position it now rotates, but the screen shows FEE, and it doesn't fire. A mess.

Nikon Zf, Nikkor-PC 105mm f/2.5

Thank you for your nice comment.

Here, the 105 does what it does so good in your hands. Beautiful painterly background...and of course  she looks gorgeous!
