urban jungle

years ago the last equipment store for golfers in Bonn and several other businesses in this barrack closed because of "immediately planned construction for new housing". There is space enough and a great infrastructure around  yet: building has not commenced, although they got their permit.

Why is it allowed to destroy all the businesses and then leave the plot as a ruin for many years?

I question the very owning of public ressources like land, air and water if these are not used for public benefit.

Passing through my rural neighbourhood. A nice contrast to our forested home area.
