Ruth went out to pick mushrooms, and returned even before I had managed to make myself a cup of coffee. In a few minutes she had filled her baskets to the brim with chantarelles and Boletus edulis (cep, porcino, Herrenpilz, this tasteful mushroom goes by a number of vernacular names). All specimens in a perfect condition without traces of any slugs arriving before she did. I doubt she had walked more than 200m away before finding this culinary treasure.
I completed my coffee-making and afterwards snapped some pictures in IR.
