For my birth day, Ruth gave me this endearing 'Snork Maiden' kit.

Happy birthday, Birna!

In the UK these characters were called Moomins.

Another delightful image that defies the modern demand for sharpens. Well done.

Is she yours?

We kept peafowl (free range) for some forty years both in the UK and later in New York state.
Sadly I don't have them anymore: my last, and very beautiful, male was taken off the chimney (where he slept) by an American Horned owl.

Peacocks are delightful pets and I miss mine!

For my birth day, Ruth gave me this endearing 'Snork Maiden' kit. The cuteness factor is super high :) I didn't know the kit was a much sought after collectors item and when I discovered that fact, didn't dare asking äbout the price ...

I had to snap a picture during breakfast -- just grabbed the nearest camera which turned out to be a Panasonic GF1 with the 'CRT' Nikkor-O 55mm f/1.2. Perfect for the task at hand.

Looks like a childhood dream came true. Lovely birthday present my dear  :)
