I'm using my 28mm f/1.8 UMN on a modified Nikon 1V1. The lens is set in the normal orientation and covers the image frame with some vignetting in the extreme corners. Image magnification is around 1:3.5, which is is outside the optimal range yet still delivers excellent results.
If you wish to go to round 10X, the lens has to be reverse-mounted and some extension added. It's easy to cobble together 40.5-52 or whatever step size is required to mount the lens onto the extension (rings or bellows). Do note the lens is quite heavy despite its pretty small size and the step rings should be robust.
If you just add L39-F adapter to the rear end of the UMN 28, the focus plane will be inside the lens. Not practical. You can hobble together a solution for Z cameras, however the image circle will be very small so not that more practical either. The CX format is much better.
