[Theme] Triptych

I couldn't find another thread "devoted" to triptych (if there is, please mods, merge this one there). I'm not after the most strict definition of it, but just 3 images matching together in some way, both horizontal (the usual) and vertical.

I'm giving it a first shot with 3 panos in a vertical triptych. The images themselves don't make up one "new" image as per usual, but do together describe the context which otherwise could be hard(er) to get.

Here goes (6x17, Kodak Portra 400, 75mm, f/22, f/22 & f/32) my triptych of a hanging bike roundabout in a city near to me (Veldhoven).

Nice to see a new thread dedicated for another subject with a nice kickoff, Hans!

The horizontal triptych can be a bit challenging (you would need to arrange three images on the software, because the forum doesn't offer the function), but that should worth a try.

Hans, I like this vertical arrangement as it moves the viewer progressively towards the centre of the roundabout...quite spectacular on a wide monitor.

Here's my attempt, featuring Australia's most boring animal (slower than a rocks and equally as interactive!). We spent a few days this week down our East coast and found two koalas in a small eucalypt about 20m from our front door.

Thank you very much Akira! Fair point about bringing the individual images together on one canvas, that at least is how it's usually done. I could have tried, but chose not to here. I did upload the images in the order i envisioned.

BTW, i think (but might be mistaken) that the actual painted dip- and triptyches would actually be on separate panels, so that is more or less how i did it here.

And maybe the word Tryptych has too many associations with other formats.

Anyway, your approach tells a story, plus it sets the scene and context.
The quick responses you've had from the others shows this concept may "have legs"

Right, front and left views from Ambleteuse sea front. It would probably work better if lighting conditions were the same but anyway, first try.
