Santa Maria (Cape Verde)
« on: February 10, 2025, 17:20:16 »
Not really a travel diary more a holiday one but I think the right place to post a series of images I shot during a week on Sal.
Sal itself is not a very attractive island. Its flat and barren. Lots of sand. In fact, sand only.
I wont bore you with pictures from the hotel where we stayed. I hope these pictures from a visit to the neighbouring village Santa Maria are more interesting.

All shot with a Ricoh GRIII camera.

Thanks John. Sadly, I am back in rainy and cold the Netherlands.

I love the street art Luc.

The sea in the pics you took looks a bit calm for surfing (first street art pic)
But I'm sure there are some good breaks somewhere.

Nice.  I note that #5 is Cesaria Evora, a nice touch.  Worth a listen.
