NG has been remarkably free of spammers for a long time. Now we have seen a number of nefarious "members" trying to wriggle in to pollute the forums and present their stupid spam links.
1. *NEVER* click any suspicious link.
2. Report any suspicious activity to me (use PM) or use the 'Report to moderator' option.
3. Any new member has to be approved by an Admin. Do note this will slow down addition of new members and is intentional.
Hopefully that'll clear the situation.
