Brief but fruitful meetup in Ginza, Tokyo

Last week, Mike Selby (a.k.a. Mikes here in NG) dropped a line that he was staying in Tokyo.  And we agreed to hang out in Ginza on November 1st.

As we have already seen each other twice along with the late Dave Patterson and once with Mongo, the meetup was casual and intimate.  We wen to a renowned coffeehouse in Ginza and enjoyed chatting in the pleasant fragrance of quality coffee.

Following the "tradition" of "Brief but" meetup, we shot each other's portraits, this time in front of the coffeehouse.

We met in a little coffee shop with only 12 seats. The coffee was excellent and the conversation flowed, and we stayed for two hours. I am sure that the proprietor was relieved to see us leave....

Having met both gentlemen, it was a pleasant surprise to see them again - both virtually unchanged by the passage of time :)
