Nikkor Z 28mm f2.8

Nikkor Z 28mm f2.8

I bought this tiny lens for walk a round while traveling.

I fulfils this together with my Z6, and occasionally on my Z8, where is can be an “42mm” and still provide pixels enough.

Even at f2.8 at nighttime it performs very good, see image 1.

There is some vignetting at f2.8 see image 2

But it is mostly gone by f8 see image 3

Photographing normal images it is less seen even at f2.8 see image 4

Close-up is possible and gives nice detailed images see image 5

This is converted to B&W, show a lot of details see image 6

Details and contrast is very good, especially considering the low price point.

Nice shots Bent, with nice colour and contrast :)
I got this lens, but only used once, most of the times 24-70 f4 is doing the job
40/2 the other lens I got together with 28 has more use, it has the same characteristics and also nice bokeh :)

By the way this tiny car is able to move on the bicycle road?

Thank you.
Yes it is actually legal on the bicycle road, it is technically a moped. It is a car for disabled.

I had hoped the imaging performance of my copy of the Z28/2.8 would be better than it is.  I have issues with the out of focus rendering in the outer zones and it's against-the-light performance.  My concerns, of course, may not be shared by others. YMMV, etc.

Bent, this post of yours is more interesting than just a collection of sample images of your new toy!

What is the small three-wheeler in the image 4?

The composition of B&W converted image looks great.  What is that?

Glad you liked it.
The small car is a “car” for disabled.
The B/W is the inside of a water tower, not used anymore, the water was placed on top of the construction.

Thank you for the explanation.  The "car" looks cool.
