Thank you, Thomas and Jurgen.
It works for me, Birna. I can feel the splash.

Found whilst searching my archives for old photos taken by the Nikkor 2.1cm. This was with the LW 28mm f/2.8 for Nikonos. A quite nice lens although not spectacularly sharp, rumoured to be based on the optics of the Nikon Series E 28mm f/2.8. It didn't work submerged, but could easily stand being soaked like here in the breaking surf. I have cut to pano format to enhance the feeling of the breaking waves. Does this work?

It works for sure.  Amazing capture!

Exactly my thoughts. Whether by original framing or cropping, the minimal amount of sky emphasizes the turbulent water.

One from the archives, as i was just starting to learn to work with the 4x5 camera and B&W film (Fomapan 100 here).

Pano crop of a 4x5 frame, shot on Foma 100, 90mm, f/22 @ 1/4s.

Nearby former cigar factory (part thereof), now it houses a vetenarian practice.

Yes Sir, it certainly is!

No longer exists though, got acquired by Scandinavian Tobacco and then "erased".

The actual factory building they had built just before the acquisition now houses WeFabricate, a company spawning manufacturing companies.

Some of the old buildings have been saved, as shown in my image.

Very nice Jürgen.  I remember I also have some panoramic shots of that great lake.
