EN-El3 vs EN-EL18 for Nikon D3, D4 and D5

Thank you. I got a new CR1616, and replaced the one original in the camera (they say it lasts 4 years, but it actually lasted  three times that ...). I had no idea there was this battery and its door was at such an easily accessible location. ;-)

The camera now remembers the time and date correctly.

Great it worked out!

In my D2X from 2005 I had to replace it once (about 3 years ago)
In my D3 from 2008 there is still the first one going strong.

I replace the EN-EL4's regularly and rotate them every 2 months or so, which might help the CR1616 big time....
