December colours from a Tokyo garden

These images are from an afternoon walk around the beautiful Rikugien Gardens, which date from the Edo period. The Autumn colours were slightly past their best.

Love these beautifully saturated red maple leaves.  The Rikugien reminds me of the very first meet-up with you and Dave...

Yes, indeed. We spent time in both Rikugien and Korakuen gardens on our various meet-ups. Here is an image of you and Dave at Korakuen in November, 2015, amongst the crowds photographing the Autumn colours there. That's EIGHT years ago! I really enjoyed those times together...
