The updated forecast now warns of approaching low tempatures in the -25 to -30C range. Which is even for us bad news. I do my best to be prepared and hope my current bout of pneumonia has disappeared towards the Siberian encounter in a couple of days ahead. Sigh. Sunny Spain with Paco is a dream yet to come true.

Why not move to Spain? You are old enough to do silly things for your pleasure! You do not need to work anymore and the temperatures in Spain do comfort your health conditions

I don't need to relocate to Spain in order to do silly things, Frank Plus there are family matters to attend to as well.

However, later today I'm  booking flight tickets to Cádiz so I can team up with my dear friend Paco again.

Downtown Oslo today -- snow is mostly cleared off the streets, but air temperatures cannot be dealt with as easily I'm wearing my heat-exchanger mask though, so that helps a bit.

For those not familiar with Norwegian idiosyncrasies, the signs you now at this time of the years see everywhere with the text 'Rasfare' (literally, 'Danger of an avalanche') mean you should stay away from that area. Which nobody does. Thereby they are exposed to the real danger of being maimed by falling icicles, a fact of Nordic life seen every winter. However, the property owners and landlords can claim the general public has been warned
