For a batch of 4 different percentages of best frames it can take hours to stack a single Jupiter take of that length (maximum of about 3 minutes length to avoid rotation blur), depending on how large the imaging area has been set. I can just start it before going to sleep or let it work in the background while doing other things. BTW I replaced it with another stack of the same take with less noise and better alignment on the moons.

Thank you, again, for the details.  That it took hours is not really surprising.  I'm looking for more to come!

My museum work begins to show ... here is a part of what I have done the last months. Each herbarium box contains up to 200 collection sheets of pressed material, and each sheet therein has to be checked and verified.

Now that I have reached the ceiling -- literally -- I might take a break? Or continue to build another tower :)

Late hour power.

D5, 70-300mm 4.5-5.6 vr  The combo really well with sharpness at low shutter speeds and high iso needed to capture this. 2 images vertical pano composition to get the full image.

Actually, not. Not even perspective manipulation. I only cropped the pic to 3:4 ratio. The architect did the trick.
