We live in neighbouringing countries, yet worlds apart, Bent :)

Witness this typical scene from today, shot with the Viltrox 75mm f/1.2 on my Z fc.

We just saw it on the news. Early snow this year.

Not unusual at all. And people are as usual surprised when the weather gods dump 20-30 cm of fresh wet snow over us :)

This is not the true winter season but the scene reminds us what we can expect in the months ahead.

We had the first frost of autumn this morning in south-central Oklahoma, U.S.A. (-1°C). If our winter this year is near to average the chance of snow as shown in Birna's post above isn't likely until January.

The white ash trees are bare, the mockernut hickories (Carya tomentosa) and winged elms (Ulmus alata) nearly so. The white oak family members retain full foliage that on a few trees is just beginning to turn golden brown. We turned to a non-native species to get a bit of autumn colour: the snapshot below is of a Chinese pistache (Pistacia chinensis) that is thriving at our location.

I was in Seoul last week for work and only had some free time at night. Here's one from the Myeongdong night market.

Converted the asking price in Won to my own currency and was surprised how cheap the duck skewer was!!

After sering several photos of "Harvest moons" this week, yours trumps the lot of them Akira
