My first--and thus far only--photo of the month is a test of a new-to-me 50mm ƒ/2 AI Nikkor.  As usual, I'm terrorizing my favorite model Christie the Wheaten Terrier who does not seem at all pleased with my efforts.  No matter, the lens is great.

Nice shot of Christie. She seems to be skeptical but at ease so I imagine (and hope) your air-conditioner is back on.

Oh, and your 50mm f/2 Ai takes a good picture too.

I think Christie believes I turned off the air conditioner just to torment her.  But she's more contented now that it's working again.

And I'm very happy with this particular lens.  Christie and I thank you for the compliment.

True. The photo was taken at a large rapid-charging facility for electric buses for the Greater Oslo region. Must have been nearly 100 units there waiting for their high-tension fling :) However the deviant unit was lined up with the other in the charging queue but how would one charge a diesel bus by high voltage??? No petrol or diesel filling stations where seen.

Bent, congrats on the Z8 -- a new 180-600 Z awaits next?

Finally, we got some rain after a very hot and dry June
Shot from the side of the road, the rain above the mountain caught up to me, but it was just light rain for maybe a couple of mins
I was on my motorcycle, and I dried up quickly
shot with my mobile

Look tempting, but must financed :o
Using my 200-500 works, but the AF is not very fast.
