The annual floating lantern festival to pray for the ancestors that would be held on every July 16th had been cancelled for three or four years due to the COVID 19 was finally held today.

A friend returned a loaner camera (Panasonic GF1) and with it came also the little fisheye lens Meike 3.5mm f/2.8 that I had all but forgotten about. So of course Ruth's cucumbers had to be documented again :)

The angle of view is a healthy 200 degrees and getting parts of your body or fingers into the image is a breeze. Guess my top was bright green!!

The lens is actually quite sharp, but the age of the Panasonic sensor shows and the outcome is so-so. Perhaps better light conditions could have improved the final result? Anyway, it was just a functional test.
