In my district, the fertile agricultural landscape is dotted with ancient remains of cultures long gone, back to the Migration period 1500-2500 years ago. The burial mounds can be immense up to 50m in diametre and must have taken a huge toll in manpower to dig up dirt to construct them. These structures are protected by Law, annoying farmers who rather would raze them to make for more farmland. As of now, they jut up in the landscape and IR is perfect to shown them clearly.
Nikon Z5 full-spectrum, Nikon 75-150mm f/3.5, B+W 093 filter. Do note the 'rolling shutter' effect as I had the camera set to silent, electronic shutter mode because of the prior use of 'X-ray' lenses.
